Regional Sales Manager- Midwest
QComp Technologies is a robotic systems integrator in the Fox Valley that serves clients throughout the United States and Canada. Our company, which is based in Greenville, provides robotic packaging systems, material handling systems and automation line integration for clients in the flat glass, solar, consumer products, food, pharmaceutical, plastics, paper, and metals industries.

In this role, you will be tasked with helping customers identify robotic automation opportunities. Utilizing QComp’s vast repertoire of past solutions as a base and creating new concepts to meet our customer’s automation needs. Gathering technical information to help applications develop a concept and proposal to present to the customer.

Qualifications & Experience You Bring…
- Proven track record of sales in the automation industry, preferably in the food or packaging industries
- High degree of mechanical aptitude, creative thinker, problem solver, and able to visualize solutions
- 5+ years of experience in robotic automation or technical sales
- Ability to effectively manage a personal pipeline that targets customers within a specified territory
Controls Engineer

In this role, In this role, the Controls Engineer will be exposed to a variety of industrial and peripheral equipment to be integrated into a functioning custom solution that meets our customers’ requirements.

- Programming & writing code to ensure our robotic automation solutions perform to our customers’ standards
- Troubleshooting complex technical problems with our talented team of engineers and technicians
- Participating in regular project meetings to ensure projects are on time and progress as planned
- Representing QComp in customer meetings to provide technical advice and creative solutions to exceed our customers’ expectations
- Ensuring a smooth equipment startup at the customer facility
Qualifications & Experience You Bring…
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience programming in an industrial automation environment
- Familiar with Rockwell Automation products – required
- Ability to integrate an ABB or Fanuc Robotics system from start to finish – a plus
- PickMaster/PickTool/PalletTool experience – a plus
- Experience with packaging machinery - a plus
Engineering Technician
To support the continued growth of our Engineering Team, QComp Technologies is seeking a motivated and skilled Engineering Technician to join our organization in a full-time role.
As an Engineering Technician at QComp Technologies, you will work hands-on with a wide range of industrial and peripheral equipment integrated into custom robotic and automation solutions. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and project teams throughout the build, testing, and commissioning of advanced robotic systems.

- Assisting with the staging, setup, and teardown of robotic system projects on the shop floor
- Supporting mechanical and electrical assembly of custom automation systems
- Working alongside Engineering Technicians to configure, troubleshoot, and test control systems during initial power-up
- Assisting Controls Engineers with programming and software-related aspects of automation projects
- Helping ensure systems meet quality, safety, and customer specifications prior to shipment
Qualifications & Experience You Bring…
- An Associate Degree in Automated Manufacturing Systems Technology or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- A strong desire to work on a variety of technically challenging projects and deliver high-quality customer solutions
- Interest in industrial automation, robotics, and integrated manufacturing systems
- Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products and software (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
