Brent Baxter is a degreed Mechanical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in custom equipment design. He began his career designing specialized conveying systems, developing advanced product-manipulating devices that enhanced production efficiency and reliability.
As Mechanical Engineering Manager at QComp Technologies, Brent collaborates closely with all departments to lead a talented team of design engineers, project engineers, and electrical designers. Together, they develop efficient, high-performing robotic cells tailored to the unique needs of industries QComp serves.
Brent’s leadership combines deep technical expertise with a passion for collaboration and continuous improvement—driving innovative automation solutions that truly help QComp Conquer Complexity.

History with the Company
Brent joined QComp in April 2018 as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where he quickly became a key contributor to the development of custom automation systems. His technical expertise, problem-solving mindset, and ability to mentor others led to his promotion to Technical Lead Engineer, where he began managing complex projects and direct reports.
Building on that success, Brent advanced to Mechanical Engineering Manager and is now an integral member of QComp’s Leadership Team. In this role, he guides a talented group of engineers, drives design innovation, and fosters collaboration across departments to deliver efficient, high-performing robotic systems.
