Blake Consdorf Named President of QComp Technologies
Industry Veteran to Focus on Engineering-Led Growth
Greenville, Wis. (January 27, 2026) – QComp Technologies, a leader in robotic automation and complex material handling solutions and a 100% employee-owned company, announced that Blake Consdorf has been appointed president. Consdorf previously served on QComp’s advisory board for two years and now steps into the role as an employee-owner, reinforcing the company’s commitment to leadership continuity, engineering excellence, and long-term customer value.
Consdorf was previously CEO of InCompass, based in Maple Grove, Minn., and brings three decades of experience across automation, robotics, engineering, operations, and sales. His appointment reflects a deliberate transition from strategic advisory guidance to hands-on leadership at a pivotal stage in QComp’s
growth.
“Blake is a disciplined operator with deep automation experience and the kind of principled leadership that builds strong teams,” said Rob Dillon, CEO of OwnersEdge. “He’s a great fit for QComp’s culture, and he understands the responsibility that comes with being employee-owned. With Blake leading QComp, we will continue to grow by staying customer-focused and committed to developing our people.”
Having worked closely with QComp’s leadership team as an advisory board member, Consdorf saw firsthand the strength of the organization and its potential.
“What drew me to this role were the people, the culture, and the values,” said Consdorf. “There is something very special about QComp and OwnersEdge. Being part of a 100% employee-owned company where we’re truly ‘in this together’ creates a deeper level of commitment and a longer-term mindset. You feel that responsibility every day.”
Consdorf previously worked in private-equity-backed environments and brings a broad perspective on leadership models and growth strategies. He cited QComp’s strong team, growing sales pipeline, and employee ownership structure as key factors in his decision to step into the role.
“Automation and robotics are in my blood,” Consdorf added. “Solving complex problems is challenging, but incredibly rewarding. QComp is positioned to take off, and I wanted to be part of that journey as an employee owner, not just an advisor.”
As president, Consdorf will focus on strengthening execution across sales, project delivery, and customer experience. His priorities include building the right sales backlog, sharpening project management discipline, and expanding service capabilities to support long-term customer partnerships.
Solving Intricate Automation Challenges
For more than three decades, QComp Technologies has helped manufacturers solve complex automation challenges involving difficult-to-handle materials where precision, reliability, and uptime are critical to operations. Specifically, the company is known for its expertise in end-of-line material handling in niche industries, including glass, consumer goods, non-wovens and food and beverage.
QComp is invested in the long-term performance of every system it supports. Through parts, service, upgrades, and lifecycle optimization, the company helps manufacturers protect uptime, extend system life, and maximize return on investment, including support for automation originally installed by other integrators.
Looking ahead, Consdorf sees a clear opportunity to elevate QComp’s position as both an employer of choice and a trusted automation partner for manufacturers navigating complex material handling and production challenges.
“A year from now, I want QComp to be the automation integrator most sought after by top talent,” said Consdorf. “And I want our customers to see us as a true partner whose success is directly tied to their own.”
